Xebia Academy to Empower B.Tech Students with New Courses in Collaboration with Sir Padampat Singhania University
Gurugram: Xebia Academy recently announced its partnership with Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU), for a 4-year B.Tech CSE programme with specialization in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). The collaboration will help make the university’s vision of an industry-ready world a reality.
The collaboration will enable the engineering students to develop core skills in cutting-edge specializations like AI and ML by giving them a competitive edge through a robust curriculum and practical expertise via hands-on projects. AI and ML are two of the most important subjects and in-demand certification courses in the IT world these days.
Talking about the association, Mr Brijesh Kohli, Director, Xebia Academy, said, “Xebia Academy aims at engineering a future where every student emerges as highly efficient—not just in the theoretical aspects, but practical, as well. A student can transform into an expert for ‘deployment’ only when the gap between industry and academia is bridged. Our courses have always been tailor-made to suit the requirements of the current scenario and future roadmap. We create them with meticulous care to ensure that our students land a five-figure job.”
He further added,”Xebia will work with the faculty to include AI & ML into the curriculum, build study material and create real-time projects for students to get job-ready through practical learning.”
Highlighting the thought process behind the collaboration, Dr. Arun Kumar, Dean School of Engineering of Sir Padampat Singhania University said, “We have always been focused on creating the appropriate workforce for the Industry at SPSU and have designed and delivered programmes that help our students become jobs ready for the industry. Such collaborations help us build a better tomorrow by refining the way education has been perceived in India. Adding modern technologies to a traditional B.Tech course will not only give our students a competitive edge, but will also help them save on the time it takes for them to be industry-ready.”
