XLRI opens admissions for 2nd Batch of XLRI Online Learning (XOL) Programs
XLRI Jamshedpur inaugurated three postgraduate programs in online mode on July 24, 2022. These programs were introduced in the context of the changing landscape of management education and in alignment with the New Education Policy (NEP) introduced by the Government of India in 2020. The programs included Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Online), Post Graduate Diploma in Finance (Online), and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (Online). After running the XRI Online Programs successfully with the 1st Batch of students, XLRI has opened its admissions for the 2nd Batch intake.
XLRI, one of the country’s oldest management institutes and a Category One institute per the AICTE classification, aims to shape executives as future business leaders and help them contribute to the growth of society. The online postgraduate diploma programs intend to bridge the gap between the aspirations of the participants and the requirements of qualified professionals; suitable for the industry. Students of these uniquely designed programs get an opportunity to learn from the experienced XLRI faculty as well as industry experts and peers over an interactive online platform.

XLRI’s Online Learning offers three programs:
1. Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management:
The PGDBM (Online) program is equipping the participants with an integrated approach to management function and related skills. The programme also provides an opportunity to concentrate in one or two of the functional areas (viz. Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Marketing, Production, Operations & Decision Sciences and Strategic Management). The program is delivered onl;ine with three one-week campus immersion modules throughout 2 years.
2. Post Graduate Diploma in Finance:
The PGDF (Online) program is mapped to the CFA Program, helping participants advance their career options as finance professionals. The PGDF (Online) program covers at least 70% of the CFA Program syllabus and incorporates the module of the CFA Institute’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. The program is delivered online with three one-week campus immersion programs throughout the two years.
3. Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management:
The PGDHRM (Online) program facilitates the learning and application of concepts, techniques, and practices in managing human resources, in addition to exposing the student to different functional areas of management to enhance effectiveness. As a specialized program, there are no separate areas for concentration. The program is delivered online with three one-week campus immersion modules throughout two years.
