Young AMU faculty selected for IVY League Programme

Aligarh : The IVY League Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania will online train Dr Ahmed Musa Khan, a young faculty member from the Department of Commerce, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in innovating teaching practices, excellence in management education, use of contemporary participant-centric pedagogies and in various areas of research and teaching excellence.

Dr Musa is among the select few academicians shortlisted from across Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa for the prestigious ‘Wharton Global Faculty Development Programme (WGFDP) 2022’ scheduled from July 25 to July 28.

Extending congratulations, Prof S M Imamul Haque (Chairman, Department of Commerce) said: “We are proud that a young faculty member from our department has been given this opportunity to nurture his professional development and build connections with a global network of fellow scholars at an early career stage”.

“Participation in a programme ‘of note’ like the WGFDP maximises the ability of faculty members to teach and to nurture a productive culture”, he added.
