Youth engagement & outreach programme organized by DECC Samba
SAMBA : Department of District Employment and Counselling Centre Samba today organized a Youth engagement and outreach progamme regarding Mission Youth schemes here at Panchayat Ghar Katli.
Assistant Director, District Employment and Counselling Centre, informed that 28 unemployed youth participated in today’s programme along sarpanch Ramesh Singh and panches of Panchayat Katli.
The AD said that the Mission Youth is an ambitious initiative aimed to provide a vibrant medium for youth engagement & empowerment in J&K. The mission & strategy is to facilitate youth to become ambassadors of peace, prosperity & socio-economic growth through systematic interventions across domains.
During the outreach programme, information on Mumkin scheme for purchase of small commercial vehicle by unemployed youth between 18-35 age group at 20% subsidy, Tejeswani scheme for establishing self employment unit for unemployed female candidates between age group 18-35 years age and minimum qualification of Matric at 10% subsidy and interest subsidy of Rs 60000 and Spurring Entrepreneurship scheme for setting up of self employment units up to Rs 20 lakh with innovative ideas for unemployed youth of 18-40 years and qualification of 12th and above with interest subsidy up to 2 lakh and details on others scheme were disseminated to the participants by the resource persons.
