Zhejiang University: Zhejiang University among the top 50 universities in the world

Zhejiang University climbs to 45th in the world, according to the QS World University Rankings 2022 released today, up from its 53rd position last year. This result shows a steady rise of the University in the global ranking with a leap into the top 50 for the first time.

“Our consistent performance in the global rankings is a strong endorsement of the University’s dedicated and talented staff and their research and teaching output, as well as the quality of our students,” said Vice President HE Lianzhen. “Going forward, we’ll further unleash our unique strengths and contribute to a sustainable future through top-quality education, path-breaking research and international partnership.”

The QS World University Rankings assesses universities based on academic reputation and employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, research impact and internationalization performance. Chinese mainland universities secured 6 positions in the top 100 on the newly released rankings.
