Zoho Launches Student Edition of Zoho Books, Empowering India’s Future Accounting Professionals
Chennai—Zoho Corporation, the Chennai-headquartered global technology company, today announced the student edition of its GST-compliant cloud-accounting software, Zoho Books on the occasion of CA Day. This edition, available for free to students in India, offers aspiring CAs and future finance professionals a modern accounting solution that helps them put their theoretical learning into practical use, while equipping them with the knowledge required to not only streamline their own firm’s financial operations but also their future clients.

The student edition of Zoho Books will have key features that finance professionals, and accountants use on a day-to-day basis such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, project billing, manual journals, financial reporting, and chart of accounts. Students can also practice tax and statutory compliance such as GST filing, e-invoicing, tax collected at source (TCS), tax deducted at source (TDS), and audit trail. Additionally, they can download the Zoho Books app for iOS, Android and Windows devices to practice accounting on the go.
Zoho has also partnered with 25 educational institutes where experienced CAs will train students to use Zoho Books. The collaboration provides training to students in Bangalore, Coimbatore, Pune, Ahmedabad, and multiple cities in Kerala.
