Aristocrat wins the bronze at the 2017 DMA International ECHO Awards

New Delhi: Aristocrat, from the house of Asia’s largest luggage manufacturer V.I.P industries had plenty of reason to cheer at the recently concluded 2017 DMA Echo International Awards held in New York. The brand brought home a bronze in the use of Artificial Intelligence’ category for its campaign, “Unpack your dreams”. The campaign led by Indian cricketers R Ashwin and Rohit Sharma, aimed towards individuals who are ambitious and constantly pursue their passion.

To educate the consumers about its new offering, the brand unveiled a digital film through its social media platforms that featured the ace cricketers. In the film, Rohit Sharma and R. Ashwin play the role of selectors and put the brand’s new products through a series of tests. The cricketers test the Aston, Morris and the Dio collection for their build, durability and space.

The ace cricketers also double up as travel and luggage experts while advising their fans on issues that they face while packing for holidays, day to day travel, etc.

The DMA Echo Awards are ranked among the oldest and most revered response based marketing awards on the international marketing calendar. The Data & Marketing Association (DMA) ECHO AWARDS 2017, was held at New York this year with a panel of 240 judges, representing the international data and marketing community, participated in three rigorous rounds of recognizing and judging success across the entire marketing ecosystem, consisting of 31 different categories.

The year 2017 has been a prodigious year for Aristocrat as it has won a hat-trick of awards such as the Kyoorius awards where the brand won the White Elephant in the category ‘Media – Use of social platforms’ and the IDMA awards, Gold in Best Digital Response campaign.
