175 applications were received for the competition “My teacher”

The competition was developed and conducted by the Student Design Office “PRO.Um” on the basis of the Pedagogical Innovation Park of PetrSU in a remote format.
We tried to hold “My Teacher” not just as a competition, but as a chance to hear children, to give them the opportunity to fully express themselves, to show us, adults, what he is, as a teacher, through the eyes of children. Initially, it was planned to hold the competition earlier, but due to the numerous requests of children and adults, we extended the acceptance of applications for several days,

In total, 175 applications from different settlements of the Republic of Karelia were registered for participation in the competition – Petrozavodskiy GO, Pudozhskiy district, Belomorskiy district, Olonetsky district, Medvezhyegorsky district, Pryazhinsky district and others. About TMemo that among the participants there are not only students from elementary, middle and high schools as well as students of PSU and preschoolers.

It is very pleasant for us to see such a geography of the competition, to hear children from many settlements of the Republic of Karelia, to see them through their eyes. At the moment, the work of the jury members continues, the work is not easy – for example, there are more than 100 works in only one age category “Younger group”. And all of them, no doubt, are unique and beautiful in their own way. Surprisingly, the predominant school subject in children’s creative work is mathematics. We also note that the work was performed in different techniques, including using digital drawing applications,
