200 Students from 50 Schools Experience Politics with WhatIsMyGoal through a Visit to the Legislative Assembly of Telangana

The first ever Under-18 elections is being conducted by WhatIsMyGoal in Telangana, which was launched on 11th April by Sri KT Rama Rao garu. As the first step in the under-18 elections, tagged #DemocracyUnderstood, WhatIsMyGoal invited students and Principals from 50 schools across Hyderabad to experience Politics via a visit to the Assembly today on 12th April.

Dr Shanta Thoutam addressed the gathering and also launched the elections poster along with the Chief Election Officer of U-18 world, Chitralee Sarma. The principals of top schools in Hyderabad such as Silver Oaks International school, Canary The School, The Premia Academy, The Shri Ram Universal School and many others witnessed the launch. The initiative aims to encourage young people to participate in the political process and take an active interest in shaping the future of their country.

The visit was aimed at providing the students with a firsthand experience of the workings of the legislative assembly and helping them gain an understanding of the political process.

The initiative gained astounding acceptance from the participating schools and pronounced a great start for The Assembly. Both, the visit and the launch of the Under-18 Elections received a positive feedback from both the students and school principals.
