4200 women get registered in Jeevan Shakti Yojana on the first day in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal : Jeevan Shakti Yojana has been implemented for making masks on a large scale in the state. On the first day of the implementation of the scheme, 4200 urban women got registered on the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. In this scheme, double layer masks will be made from 100 percent cotton. These masks will be effective in the prevention of Corona virus.

Within the first hour of implementation of Jeevan Shakti Yojana, 325 urban women got registered under the scheme. The registration process is in progress. In this scheme, women from urban areas will be included. Direct orders will be given by the state government to the women registered on the portal to make masks. On depositing the mask made according to the order, the amount will be transferred to the women’s account on the same day. The state government has issued a helpline number 0755-2700800 to join the scheme.

Women laud scheme

Women from different regions including Smt. Garima Mahawar of Ujjain said that Jeevan Shakti Yojana was a commendable initiative in the direction of providing respectable employment to women at home. The women said that with this scheme we women also have got the opportunity to assist the state government in the war against Corona. The women have expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan on implementing the Jeevan Shakti Yojana.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has said that Jeevan Shakti Yojana has been implemented to provide good quality masks at a fixed price to protect the common people from Corona and to encourage women empowerment.
