Outstanding teaching achievements at the University of Mannheim recognized
Three lecturers from the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Law and Economics received the teaching award this year for their exceptional teaching achievements.
In order to maintain the excellent teaching quality, the lecturers and their events at the University of Mannheim are regularly evaluated. They receive differentiated feedback from the students, which flows into the follow-up and preparation of the teaching formats. This year, three teachers will receive recognition for their excellent ratings. All three motivate the students with very sophisticated teaching models and thus achieve above-average learning success: Prof. Thomas Gschwend, Ph.D., holder of the Chair for Political Science, Quantitative Social Science Methods, receives the teaching award in the “Professorship” category. In the category “PhD and junior professorship”, Dr. Meike Bonefeld, Postdoc in the working group for teaching quality in heterogeneous contexts, and Prof. Dr. Nils Schaks, Junior Professor of Public Law, honored.
