SKKU Office of International Relations held an opening ceremony for International Hall Global Lounge on December 18

SKKU Office of International Relations held an opening ceremony for International Hall Global Lounge on December 18 (Fri).

The Global Lounge, located in the International Hall, is the most visited place by international partners and foreign students. It symbolizes and represents our university’s internationalization and plans to be used as a place to promote our university as well as conduct admissions and counseling for international students. In addition, it has been transformed into a space where students can freely communicate and enjoy by having a lounge in a wide lobby.

Moreover, there is an information desk for welcoming guests who come to our university from abroad and distributing foreign registration cards, and a large screen for promoting our university and our global programs. It also displayed brochures for partnership schools’ exchange program and souvenirs from the partner universities.

SKKU President Dong-Ryeol Shin said “I hope that the COVID-19 ends as soon as possible, so that the global lounge becomes a place where students from all over the world can freely exchange and communicate.”
