Municipal Council Udhampur launches digital survey
Udhampur: With the aim to provide better sanitation and other services, Municipal Council Udhampur today initiated digital survey for the allotment of unique IDS/House numbers. The Survey was launched by District Development Commissioner, Dr Piyush Singla.
The DDC appreciated the efforts made by Municipal Council Udhampur and asked for completing the survey within the set deadline in coordination with concerned Councillors. He assured all possible help from the District Administration for completion of digital survey in the town.
Earlier, North Head, Central Commercial Industry of India, Mustakim Sardar gave a brief about the digital survey and geo tagging of all households of the Udhampur town. He informed that house number- (UID number) will be allotted to each household after capturing the details during the survey. Besides, detail of ward wise residential and commercial properties will also be compiled which will help in effective planning of the city. He further said that two persons in each ward will be engaged for survey which will be completed within 3 months.
Detailed methodology for conducting the survey was also discussed in detail.
Among others present were President Municipal Council, Jogeshwar Gupta; Additional District Development Commissioner, Ashok Kumar; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mohd Syed Khan; Chief Planning Officer, Rajeev Bhushan; Assistant Commissioner Development, Mushtaq Chowdhary; District Information Officer, Er Sajad Bashir Somberia and all Councillors and other officers were present.
