CM Shri Chouhan to perform bhoomi-pujan and dedicate 19 water supply schemes of urban bodies worth Rs 366 crore

Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will virtually perform bhoomi-pujan and dedicate 19 water supply schemes of various urban bodies on February 5 at 3 pm. The total cost of these schemes is Rs. 366 crore 29 lakhs. Of these, 12 schemes costing Rs 224 crore 50 lakh will be dedicated and 7 schemes costing Rs 141 crore 79 lakh will be performed bhoom-pujan. Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh will also be present.

Dedication of 12 schemes to benefit 4.80 lakh citizens

About 4 lakh 80 thousand citizens of 12 cities will be benefited from the 12 water supply schemes to be dedicated by Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. Under the Chief Minister’s Urban Drinking Water Scheme, water supply projects worth Rs 13 crore 35 lakhs of Hanumana Nagar Parishad, Rs 12 crore 89 lakhs of Amanganj Nagar Parishad, Rs 18 crore 18 lakhs of Nagaud Nagar Parishad, Rs 11 crore 94 lakhs of Kurwai Nagar Parishad, Rs 7 crore 34 lakhs of Budhni Nagar Parishad, Rs 8 crore 37 lakhs of Govindgarh Nagar Parishad, Rs 7 crore 92 lakh of Bhanpura Nagar Parishad, Rs 7 crore 29 lakh of Badoud Nagar Parishad, Rs 14 crore 70 lakh of Nagar Palika Umaria and Rs 4 crore 95 lakh of Chhapihera Nagar Parishad will be dedicated. The Chief Minister will dedicate water supply projects worth Rs 29 crore 88 lakh of Nagar Palika Parishad Guna and Rs 87 crore 69 lakh of Pithampur Nagar Palika under AMRUT Mission.

Bhoomi-pujan

Under ADB Yojana, CM Shri Chouhan will perform bhoomi-pujan of water supply projects worth Rs 19 crore 55 lakhs of Dhamnod Nagar Parishad, Rs 21 crore 50 lakhs of Jaronkhalsa Nagar Parishad, Rs 20 crore 29 lakhs of Kari Nagar Parishad and Rs 20 crore 52 lakhs of Lidhorakhas and under World Bank Scheme, he will perform bhoomi-pujan of water supply projects worth Rs 25 crore 90 lakhs of Bada Malhera Nagar Parishad, Rs 26 crore 52 lakhs of Sevada Nagar Parishad and Rs 7 crore 51 lakhs of Naigarhi Nagar Parishad. About 93 thousand citizens will be benefited on completion of these projects. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will also interact with citizens of three cities. The programme will be telecast live through Madhya Pradesh Doordarshan, regional news channels and social media.
