Workshop on “Technology Platforms in Public Grievances” redressal
New Delhi: The Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances is organizing a One-Day Workshop on “Technology Platforms in Public Grievances” on 18th February 2021. It was seen that States were using a multiplicity of technology platforms to redress public grievances and a number of best practices emerged in implementation across the Nation. On the advice of the Cabinet Secretary, a National Workshop for knowledge dissemination on the diverse technology platforms in redressal of public grievances is scheduled to be convened by DARPG. Best technology practices at district level have been identified from Northern, Southern, Western and Eastern States.
Accordingly, there will be four technical sessions to be chaired by Shri Ajit Seth, former Cabinet Secretary, Government of India; Dr. C Chandramouli, former Secretary, DOPT; Ms. Gauri Kumar, former Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat; and Shri Bimal Julka, Former CIC, Government of India. Hon’ble MOS (PP) Dr. Jitendra Singh, is the Chief Guest at the event and Dr. Kshatrapati Shivaji, Secretary DARPG will be welcoming the gathering.
The first technical session on “Technology Platforms in Public Grievances – Northern States” will be chaired by Shri Ajit Seth, former Cabinet Secretary, Government of India. Speakers will include Collector, Dehradun, Uttrakhand; Collector, Jalandhar, Punjab; Collector, Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir; and Collector, Jhanshi, Uttar Pradesh.
The second technical session on “Technology Platforms in Public Grievances – Southern States” will be chaired by Dr. C Chandramouli, former Secretary, DOPT and Collectors from West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh; Kasargod District, Kerala; and Siricilla District, Telangana are speakers for the Session.
The third session on “Technology Platforms in Public Grievances – Western States” will be chaired by Ms. Gauri Kumar, former Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat. There speakers will be from Sirohi District, Rajasthan; Debhoomi Dwaraka District, Gujarat; and Parbhani District, Maharashtra.
The fourth session on “Technology Platforms in Public Grievances – Eastern States” will be chaired by Shri Bimal Julka, former CIC, Government of India and Collectors from Nawada District, Bihar; Sambhalpur District, Odisha; and Chindwara District, Madhya Pradesh are identified speakers for the Session. On this occasion, Hon’ble MOS (PP) Dr. Jitendra Singh, will release an online version of the Special edition of MGMG (Minimum Government – Maximum Governance) – ‘Success Stories in Disposal of Covid-19 Public Grievances and Best Practices in Handling of Covid19 Pandemic by District
