PetrSU teachers and students took part in the Youth Global Energy Development Forecast.
The Youth Global Energy Development Forecast is an international competition among youth teams of educational institutions of higher education and industry companies, aimed at the formation of scientifically based proposals regarding the future parameters of energy development until 2035.
The project envisages the implementation by the teams of analytics of available information sources on the selected topic in accordance with the assignment of the organizers and the construction of a model for the development of the fuel and energy complex and MSC under the influence of the identified trends in the short, medium and long term, as well as an assessment of the impact of projected changes on the socio-economic development of Russia and BRICS countries in general, including related sectors of the economy. Participation in the project implies speaking at conferences, forums, exhibitions and other public events aimed at popularizing the fuel and energy complex, engineering education and the fuel and energy complex professions, ideas of energy conservation and energy efficiency.
Students of the Physicotechnical Institute took part in the event as part of the PetrSU team. Denis Petrushin and Nikolai Savchenko, graduates of the Physicotechnical Institute 2015, took part in the team of SO UES JSC.
Currently, Denis Petrushin is a lecturer at the Department of Energy Supply of Enterprises and Energy Saving of the Physico-Technical Institute, Youth Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities and Energy of the III convocation of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, at the final presentation he acted as a speaker.
After the event, an energy ticket was held, following which the student of the Physicotechnical Institute Sergey Pimenov entered the top ten, and Denis Petrushin took 4th place.
