S.P. Mandali’s WeSchool engages with MBA students from Srinagar for ‘Excellence in action’ under umbrella initiative ‘Young Indians’ by CII and knowledge partner Aries Agro Limited
Mumbai: With an objective to understand innovation and initiatives across campuses and organizations were first year MBA students from National Institute of Technology, Srinagar interacting with various teams from S.P. Mandali’s Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool). The students were informed about how WeSchool benchmarks it’s’ progress and offers industry relevant programs. They were introduced to Design Thinking with human cantered approach to solve problems and innovate for product development, operations and customer interface. They went through various student projects from sustainable farming to recycling waste organiser, studying student led innovations.
Speaking about the initiative, Dr. Rahul Mirchadani, Chairman and Managing Director, Aries Agro Ltd., said, “CII-Young Indians has built a network in 54 cities and Yi Mumbai is proud to connect with Yi Srinagar students for structured internship projects, industrial visits, masterclasses, rural homestays and cultural immersion. This will expose Srinagar students to the unlimited opportunities in the financial capital.”
Commenting on the initiative, Prof. Dr. Uday Salunkhe, Group Director, S.P. Mandali’s WeSchool said, “This is an excellent opportunity offering a market view to the future corporate leaders from Srinagar. It gives them a chance to interact with innovation teams across organizations and educational institutes. This is the experiential learning which will broaden their understanding on marketing, consulting, and brand communication. It introduces them to work values of contributing to self, organization and society.”
