“Intelligent systems and digitalization of industry solutions”

The “Fregat” business center hosted a conference “Intelligent systems and digitalization of industry solutions”, which was attended by experts, young scientists, representatives of the real sector of the economy, directors and specialists of institutes of Petrozavodsk State University and the Karelian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
As part of the first part of the conference, general reports were made by the Vice-Rector for Research, Vladimir Sergeevich Syunev, Head of the Department for Innovation and Production Activities Olga Yurievna Derbeneva, Head of the Administrative and Legal Department Irina Valerievna Peshkova, Head of the Laboratory for Data Mining, Associate Professor of the Department of Informatics and software Dmitry Zhorzhevich Korzun, director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence Alexey Georgievich Marakhtanov.

The reports were devoted to the participation of Petrozavodsk State University in the Strategic Academic Leadership Program, digitalization of education, science and production, building a territorial consortium for the digital development of industry and territories using the capabilities of domestic IT, microelectronics, digital technologies, artificial intelligence and data centers.

As part of the second part of the conference, the participants discussed specific IT and industry projects of PetrSU, planned for implementation within the territorial consortium. The speakers were D.Zh. Korzun, A.G. Marakhtanov, A.A. Velichko, V.V. Putrolainen, A.S. Shtykov, O. N. Galaktionov, A. A. Prokhorov, A. Yu. Volkova, N.A. Sidorova, E.A. Tikhonov.

The event was implemented with the support of the V. Potanin Charitable Foundation, KARELIA DPCS LLC, the Endowment Fund of Petrozavodsk State University, Inbisist LLC. The conference was organized and conducted by the Center for Artificial Intelligence of PetrSU.
