PetrSU students took part in the meeting of initiative groups of the project “No statute of limitations”

2nd year students of the Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences took part in the meeting of the initiative groups of the project “No statute of limitations”.
In 2018, the All-Russian movement to perpetuate the memory of those killed in the defense of the Fatherland “Search Movement of Russia” initiated the project “No statute of limitations”. The main task of the project is to identify documents reflecting the crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices during the Great Patriotic War. In 2021, 2nd year students of the Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences Roman Volkov, Elizaveta Chivina, Alexandra Selina, Vasilisa Sorokina took part in this work. They were invited to the meeting of the initiative groups of the project, which took place from March 25 to March 28 in Moscow. The meeting brought together 90 delegates from 26 regions of the country.

As part of the educational program of the rally, researchers, heads of archives, representatives of international media groups spoke to the students about the history of the emergence and the main directions of the project “No statute of limitations”, as well as the results that have been achieved so far. As part of the cultural program, the rally participants attended the performance “Laurel” at the Moscow Art Theater. Gorky and the updated exposition “The Feat of the People” in the Museum of Victory on Poklonnaya Gora.
