Ecole Centrale School of Engineering, Mahindra University announces launch of two new M.Tech. programs in Autonomous Electric Vehicles(A-EVs) and Computer Aided Structural Engineering (CASE)

Hyderabad:  Ecole Centrale School of Engineering, Mahindra University (ECSE-MU) Hyderabad, invites applications for admissions to its 1st batch of two M.Tech. programs, commencing from the academic year 2021-22. These are M.Tech. in Autonomous Electric Vehicles (A-EVs) and M.Tech. in Computer Aided Structural Engineering (CASE). To start with each of these will admit 15 students on merit, who will qualify for admission. Interested candidates can download the application forms from the website: www.mahindrauniversity.edu.in. The last date for filling the applications is June 15, 2021.

 

“After the impressive success of our B.Tech. and PhD programmes, launching M.Tech. programs was only natural and a logical step forward. These fully residential M.Tech. programs are aimed to create post graduate engineers with the unique ability to adapt to global engineering challenges and adopt new technologies that would help redefine the future, train and prepare Engineers to meet the challenge of interdisciplinary complexities demanded by multinational organizations. We will add on more and more M.Tech. programs with newer specializations in the coming years, depending on industry requirements”, says Dr. Yajulu Medury, Vice Chancellor, Mahindra University.

 

Mahindra University has an international faculty roster with a rich industry-academic background, global exposure and research focus, contemporary curricula that is frequently reviewed and updated, and aligned to the global business and industry requirements. The M.Tech. degree will be awarded after successful completion of two years of intensive study as per academic program & curricula set and approved by the Academic Council of the University.

 

Eligibility criterion for admission to these masters programs is full-time Bachelor’s degree from any recognized University/ Institute with a minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent grade. All applicants with a valid GATE percentile score of 80 and above have to go through an interview for admission. Those with GATE percentile score of less than 80 have to additionally write a written test to be conducted by ECSE-MU.

 

For admission to the M.Tech. program in Autonomous Electric Vehicles (A-EVs), mandatory qualification is B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering. For admission to the M.Tech. program in Computer Aided Structural Engineering (CASE), mandatory requirement is B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.

 

For students who take admission through the GATE Scores, an academic fee of Rs. 1,00,000 per annum will be charged. These students will be offered teaching assistantships, which will include a Stipend of Rs 15,000 per month plus free Boarding and Lodging in the in-campus hostels. For the Non-GATE route admission, there will be an Academic Fees of Rs. 1,00,000 per annum and Rs. 2,00,000 per annum (Hostel Charges covering both boarding and lodging)
