Contest of public speaking “Verb”
The department of pre-university and vocational guidance work together with the PetrSU partner, the Resource Center “Specialized School of Arts”, invites you to take part in the XIII regional oratory competition “Glagol”.
From 2 to 4 November this year, the XIII Regional Competition of Artistic Word and Public Speaking “Verb” will take place.
Participants of the regional round of the Competition , the winners of the municipal stages of the intellectual and creative competition, will perform on the stage of the concert hall of the Specialized School of Arts.
The performances will be evaluated by a jury, which will include leading teachers of the Russian language and literature of Petrozavodsk State University, stage teachers, cultural and art workers, and representatives of the media.
In 2021, participants in the age category “students of grades 7-8” shall submit one prose and one poetic work to the Competition in accordance with the following topics:
– “World of Adventures” . Foreign prose of the 19-21 centuries;
– “You are beautiful, the fields of the native land,
Your bad weather is even more beautiful … ” (M.Yu. Lermontov) . Seasons in Russian poetry of the 19-21 centuries.
Participants of the age categories “students of 9-11 grades”, students of 1 and 2 courses of secondary vocational educational organizations of the Republic of Karelia and educational institutions of higher education “perform a work (fragment) on the topic:
in the category “Artistic word”:
– “Love is an invaluable gift …” . Russian poets of the 18-21 centuries about love;
in the nomination “Oratory”:
– essay: “Ultimately, the basis of all human values is morality” A. Einstein.
The organizers of the Competition are the Resource Center “Specialized School of Arts”, the Children’s Theater Center with the partner support of Petrozavodsk State University.
