ACR Kishtwar inspects COVID care centre at Bounjwah

Kishtwar: Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Kishtwar, Akhter Hussain Qazi today inspected the medicare facilities at the COVID Care centres established in Higher Secondary School Binoon of block Bounjwah.

He was accompanied by Tehsildar Bounjwah Irshad Ahmed Butt, NT patnazi Jaimal Singh besides other concerned officers of the Health and Revenue department.

Tehsildar Bounjwah informed that the cnetre has a capacity of 30 beds with adequate basic facilities for the inmates .

Besides, he informed that availability of necessary medicare utilities and logistics have been ensured in the centre.

The ACR interacted with the staff members and asked them to take care of their own safety and the safety of the patients by strictly following the SOPs and COVID appropriate behaviour.

During the meeting with the members of the surveillance team, he directed them to continue the door to door drive of identifying the potential COVID positive patients and update the data on a daily basis.

Meanwhile ACR Kishtwar also inspected the enforcement of corona curfew in the areas and directed the local administration to implement the restrictions in letter and spirit for breaking the chain of transmission.

During the visit, he also interacted with the prominent persons and PRIs of the area and urged them to motivate the people to stay indoors and follow the corona curfew and other guidelines.
