The new chairman of the Student Scientific Society of PetrSU was elected

The final meeting of the Student Scientific Society of PetrSU in the 2020/2021 academic year was held in the Youth Innopark.
At the beginning of the meeting, Anton Malyshko, who served as chairman of the Student Scientific Society since May 2019, 1st year master student of the Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences, summed up the results of the year, talking about the successes of the association and the problems it faces.

The most active members of the society were awarded letters of thanks and memorable prizes.

An important part of the meeting was the election of a new chairman of the Student Scientific Society, which was Olga Kälviyainen, a third-year student of the Institute of Forestry, Mining and Construction Sciences.

Assuming the office of chairman of the Student Scientific Society is a very important step for me and a great responsibility. Now I am only at the beginning of the path and I understand how much I have to learn and learn a lot. In the future, I hope, we will be able to reach a new level in solving the most pressing problems of society: to strengthen inter-institutional cooperation, expand the staff, and increase the effectiveness of the campaign. Also, the possibility of interuniversity cooperation with student scientific societies of other universities in Russia is becoming more and more relevant, Olga Kälviyainen shared her plans.
