Journal published by IIM Kozhikode listed in ABS Academic Journal Guide 2018

Kozhikode: IIM Kozhikode Society & Management Review (IIMK SMR) is a bi-annual journal from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode published by SAGE Publications. The journal aims to connect to the management community—academia, businesses, public institutions, NGOs, and the Government—by way of motivating research and publishing rigorous, clear and widely accessible articles concerning business management and broader society.

The Academic Journal Guide (AJG) which is reviewed & published every three years by Association of Business Schools (ABS) is an influential guide that help management scholars to make decisions about where they should seek to have their work published by ranking journals on a scale of 1 to 4*. The AJG is based upon peer review, editorial and expert judgement following from the evaluation of publications, and is informed by statistical information relating to citation.

IIMK SMR has been ranked “2” (equivalent to “B” category) in the Academic Journal Guide 2018 published by the Association of Business Schools on 14 March 2018. IIMK SMR debuted with a good rank and is the only journal among publications brought out by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) to be listed in Academic Journal Guide.

IIM Kozhikode is the fifth IIM, established in 1996 by the Government of India in collaboration with the Government of Kerala. It aims to contribute significantly to education, training, consulting, and research in management. IIMK is dedicated to offering world class programmes in management.
