DC Reasi reviews performance of key departments; Asks for daily monitoring, assessment to improve performance level

 

REASI  : Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Charandeep Singh today chaired a meeting of district officers to review the performance of the different departments.

He encouraged the officers to Perform well so that district Reasi could get good rank in different indices like Good governance index and Districts- Ranking index. He called for timely and quality redress of public grievances and stressed that no complaint should be left unresolved.

ADDC, Jyoti Slathia; CPO, Sunita Kanchan; PO ICDS Renu Kumari; ACD Anirudh Rai; CEO KDA Preety Sharma; CMO, CAO, CHO, DSWO, besides other District officers were also present at the meeting

The DC stressed that as covid Pandemic is slowly and steadily receding, there is a need to put more focus on performance evaluation of different departments so as to perform better in Districts-Ranking index and Good governance index .

The DC encouraged the concerned officers of various departments to highlight their achievements, best practices, success stories, targets of previous year and current year so that the required data would be submitted to the Planning, Development and the monitoring department for evaluation purpose regarding formulation of Districts-Ranking Index and Good governance Index .

The DC reviewed the performance of different departments on the basis of different monitoring indicators like JKIGRAMS disposal status, B2V works execution, COVID management, performance in implementation of social security schemes, Skill development Schemes, Bank linked schemes, farmers schemes, students schemes, MGNREGA work etc.

After taking a thorough review, the DC stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure timely and prompt redress of the grievances pertaining to their department. He said that an effective and proper grievance redress mechanism is the cornerstone of a welfare administration.
