Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav: District Level National Anthem singing competition held

RAMBAN : Under the on-going Nationwide Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, a District Level National Anthem singing competition for Junior and Senior categories was held here in Government Model Higher Secondary School.

Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Rajinder Sharma was the chief guest, while Assistant Commissioner Panchayat (ACP) Swarn Singh; Chief Education Officer, Vinod Koul; District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Dharamveer Singh besides other officers were also present on the occasion.

In the competition, Ramban zone bagged first position in both Group as well as solo performance in 13 to 18 year age category, while Batote Zone stood second.

In the 18 year plus age category, Government Degree College (GDC), Gool stood first in Group as well as Individual categories, while as GDC, Banihal stood second in Group as well as Individual categories.

In all 11 teams from schools of different zones of district Ramban competed with each other besides individual performers.

In Junior Category, Neha Rakwal of Ramban Public School, stood first in the individual competition.

In Senior Category, Tanveer Ahmed of GDC, Gool bagged first prize in individual competition.
