Azadi ka Amrut Mohatsav: Special camp held at Changa to distribute assistive aids among Specially abled persons

DODA : As a part of the ongoing Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, the Social Welfare department Doda today held a Special camp here at Changa to distribute assistive aids among Specially abled persons.

The distribution camp was held under the overall supervision of District Social Welfare Officer, Zubair Ahmed Lone.

Prosthetic aids such as crutches, wheelchairs, walking sticks besides hearing aids were provided to PwDs.

Block Development Council Chairperson Changa, Mohammad Abass Rather was the chief guest. He appreciated the persistence efforts of the department to extend handholding to the specially abled persons living in the far off places of Gandoh sub division from time to time.

Among others present were TSWO Gandoh Touseef Ahmed Zargar, PRI members, besides prominent citizens of the area.
