Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav: DIPR hosts cultural programme at Jagriti oldage home, Bal AshramUdhampur
UDHAMPUR: Department of Information and Public Relations, District Information Centre Udhampur, in collaboration with Cultural Wing of Jammu, today organized a musical programme based on Azaadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav (India@75) celebration here in the premises of Jagriti Old Age Home and Bal Ashram.
President Jagriti Oldage home, Jugal Kishore Gupta was the chief guest, while District Information Officer, Ateeksha Sethi presided over the programme.
Artists of the Cultural Wing Jammu and District Information Centre, including Mohinder Panchairvi, Suresh Kumar, Amit Kumar, Rakesh Kumar and Balbir Singh presented a musical programme featuring patriotic and Folk songs. The cultural program was highly appreciated by the audience.
While addressing the programme, the chief guest hailed the information department for presenting such a beautiful cultural programme on Azaadi ka Amrut Mahotsav to mark the 75 years of India’s Independence. He appreciated the efforts of the Information Department for creating awareness by means of culture and urged the Department to hold more such events in the near future also.
