Education dept hosts Online quiz competition in Kathua

KATHUA : As part of a series of activities being held to celebrate 75th Independence Day, an online quiz competition based on Freedom struggle was organized today under the supervision of Chief Education Officer Kathua.

Paawan Vivek DRG was moderator of the mega event, Bhupinder Singh Cultural Ambassador and Hardev Verma were the organizers of the quiz.

Around 85 students of different Government and private schools of District Kathua participated in the quiz.

A set of 30 questions including pictures and identification of audio voices of freedom fighters was set up in which Sun Jeet Kour of Little Angel Hr Sec School stood first, Vansh Rajput of Learning Temple school secured second place while Humesh Kumar of Government Higher School Nagri Parole stood third.

Chief Education Officer Kathua presided over the event and encouraged students to take part in co-curricular activities for their harmonious development. The officer ensured to arrange more such quiz competitions in days to come.

Meanwhile, Dancing, Singing [Patriotic], patriotic poem recitation, painting competitions, cleanliness drives and many such programme on account of 75th Independence Day are being organized by different institutions coordinated by District Resource Centre Kathua under the supervision of CEO Kathua.
