GPGCW Gandhinagar conducts Inter-College Video Blog making competition to celebrate Patriotic Week

JAMMU : Government PG College for Women, Gandhinagar is holding a series of activities to celebrate 75th Independence Day under the aegis of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’.

An Inter-College Video Blog Competition on the topic “Say No to Single Use Plastics” was conducted on August 12, 2021. About 27 students from different Degree Colleges of Jammu Division participated in the activity with full zeal and enthusiasm.

A campaign on the theme “Clean India Green India” was held today which witnessed NSS Volunteers and 2J&K Girls Bn.NCC Cadets of the College taking active part in a cleanliness drive held on the campus. They collected the waste and disseminated the message of saving the environment by reducing the plastic use in the daily routine.

Dr. Sangita Nagari, the Principal of the College appreciated the students and motivated them to be part of such activities as maintaining a clean environment is our moral responsibility.

She acknowledged the efforts of organising committee – Dr. Sujata Slathia, Prof. Mala Bhasin, Prof. Suman Bala and Prof. Abhinav Sharma for their great teamwork.
