DLSA Reasi holds awareness prog on Nyaya Bandhu and Nyaya Mitra Schemes

REASI : For effective implementation of Article 39-A of the Constitution of India which ensures easy and affordable Legal Aid to all irrespective of economic or other disabilities of those wishing to access it , the District Legal Services Authority, Reasi today organized a legal awareness program on the topic of “ Nyaya Bandhu and Nyaya Mitra Schemes” under the guidance and supervision of the Chairman R. N. Wattal, here at Panchayat Laiter in Pouni.

Advocate Shalinder Bhardwaj, the Panel Advocate was the resource person who threw light on the objectives and benefits of the above said schemes and shared his valuable knowledge on the subject of this program. The program was organized as per the Mandate of the Calendar of the programs of Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authority for the month of August under the project “Access to Justice for J&K” (Phase-II).

The objective of organizing this program was to raise awareness among the common masses regarding Nyaya Bandhu Mobile applications which facilitate free Legal Services to the weaker sections of the society.
