Musical evening marks At Home function in Poonch

POONCH : J&K Academy of Art culture and languages in collaboration with District information Centre and District Administration Poonch hosted At Home here at DC Office Poonch.

The event was presided over by District Development Council, Chairperson Tazeem Akhter, Chairman BDC Jameel Kohli; Superintendent Police Dr Vinod Kumar; ADDC Abdul Sattar; ADC, Dr Basharat Hussain; ASP Liyakat Chodhary; Superintendent District Jail, Riaz Naaz;, Member DDC, and all District and sectoral officers.

A series of diverse and colourful patriotic songs were presented by the artists. The audience lauded the presentation by the artists/poets. The public also complimented them for their dedication for contributing in the field of culture and urged upon them to continue to organise such programmes in future also.

The artists included Kartar Chand, Khursheed Rather, Kulbir Singh, Rasmeet Singh, Harpal Singh, Nazir Hussain, Danish Rather, Trishant Kartar, Gulnaz Chouhan. Musicians Sanjay Kumar, Prem Parkash, Rafiq Hussain, Anchor Pardeep Khanna and Poets Fateh Mohammad Abbasi, Akbar Ali Bandey, Ahtsham Hussain, Ishart Bhatt ,Nazir Bhatti , Tahir Mehmood, K D Mani. Sadiq Ahmed; Bashir Lohar, Sheikh Sajjad participated in the event.
