ICICI foundation donates 6 Oxygen concentrators to B’pora hospitals

BANDIPORA : ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth, the CSR arm of ICICI Group, on Wednesday handed over six Oxygen concentrators to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad as part of the Community Social Responsibility.

Joint Director Planning Imityaz Ahmad, Relation Managers of ICICI Bank, Zuhaib Ved and Mohammad Maqbool were also present on the occasion.

These Oxygen concentrators will be provided to the hospitals in Bandipora with an aim to provide citizens with immediate oxygen support in the event of a medical emergency amid the ongoing pandemic.

Officials of ICICI Foundation said it has procured these high-quality oxygen concentrators from companies having an extensive service network across the country, which shall ensure prompt and efficient maintenance support for the machines, as and when required.

The DC thanked the company for donating the oxygen concentrators and lending a helping hand to the administration by equipping the hospitals with most needed infrastructure. He said this initiative will contribute significantly in our battle against the pandemic, especially in the challenging terrains and remote areas of the district.
