Traffic Deptt Rural Jammu hosts debate competition on “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

 

SAMBA : Sr. Superintendent of Police, Traffic Rural Jammu Mohan Lal Kaith today organized a Debate Competition on “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” under the aegis of Civic Action Programme (CAP) here at VPS Farms Karalian.

In all, 50 students of Arvind Ghosh, Higher Secondary School Vijaypur, Pathseeker International Higher Secondary School Ramgarh and Govt. Middle School Dolian Bari Brahamana participated in the debate.

Tanveer Kour, student of Class 4th of the Pathseeker International HSS Ramgarh was adjudged as while Nidhi Sharma, and Rashmi Kumari, both 12 class students of Arvind Ghosh HSS Vijaypur bagged second and third position, respectively.

The Ist, 2nd and 3rd winners were awarded with the trophies and the Commendation Certificates, while other participants and general students of the schools were presented gifts and participation certificates.

Sarbjeet Singh Johar, Member District Development Council Ramgarh was the chief guest and Sat Salarbi Choudhary was the anchor on the occasion.

In his address, SSP Traffic Rural Jammu lauded the role of concerned Principals, students of respective Schools and other speakers, who played their effective role for making the Debate Competition a grand scusses. The participants were briefed that the Government of India has launched different schemes, which also includes Civic Action Programme (CAP) especially in respect of for their bright career. He also stressed upon the students to acquire continuous education to achieve their future goals.

Bhupinder Singh, retired SSP, Chairman Pathseeker International HSS; Gurmeet Singh, Principal Arvind Ghosh HSS; Romesh Chander, Headmaster Government Middle School Dolian Bari Brahamana; In charge DySP (Traffic) Samba Kathua, Surjeet Singh and DTI Bari Brahmana and Vijaypur were also present on the occasion.
