Prospects for the use of artificial intelligence in the Ministry of Emergencies

Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Karelia, Major General of the Internal Service V.I. Biryuchkov got acquainted with the developments of the Center for Artificial Intelligence of PetrSU.
Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was held with the rector of PetrSU A.V. Voronin.

The Center staff spoke about IT technologies developed at the Artificial Intelligence Center of Petrozavodsk State University.

The meeting discussed the possibility of introducing artificial intelligence elements into the emergency warning system. The use of elements of artificial intelligence in the work of the rescue department is aimed at increasing the efficiency of digital technologies aimed at improving the safety of the population and territories, and their integration.
