IIM Bangalore’s Supply Chain Management Centre to host the Retail Supply Chain Conference on February 22

Bengaluru: The Supply Chain Management Centre (SCMC), a Centre of Excellence at IIM Bangalore (IIMB), will host the Retail Supply Chain Conference on February 22 (Friday), 2019, from 09.30 am to 05.15 pm, at Classroom C-11.

The unique one-day academia-meets-industry conference will be focused on retail supply chain, leveraging analytics in supply chain and the impact of e-commerce on supply chain strategies.

The conference is targeted at industry executives in Retail, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Services, IT and Consulting sectors, and academia focused on the retail industry.

The SCMC is a major area of teaching and research at IIMB. It is a strategic multidisciplinary Centre of Excellence within IIMB dedicated to carrying out specialized theoretical and applied research on Supply Chain Management and to promote closer and enduring industry-institute collaboration. The centre brings together practitioners from leading organizations, researchers from renowned research institutes and IIMB’s multi-disciplinary faculty to carry out specialized theoretical and applied research in Supply Chain Management and works towards becoming an internationally recognized centre in the field.
