DLSA Reasi holds special Lok Adalat

REASI : Under the insightful directions of Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, Executive Chairman, JKLSA and radiant guidance of R.N. Watal, Chairman, DLSA Reasi (Pr.District & Sessions Judge Reasi), District Legal Services Authority, Reasi today organized a Special Lok Adalat under PAN India Awareness and Outreach Campaign.

Three Benches were constituted for settling the referred cases. The Bench No.1 consisted of Rekha Kapoor Nischal, Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Reasi and Assma Choudhary, Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Reasi.

Bench No. 2 comprised of Manoj Kumar Parihar, Sub-Judge, Reasi and Sandeep Sen, Munsiff, Reasi and Bench no.3 consisted of Mahavir Singh, Munsiff Mahore, Abdul Gani Bhatt, President Bar Association, Mahore and Advocate M. D. Singh.

The matters presented before the Benches included Civil, Criminal Compoundable, Cheque Bounce, Recovery matters, MACT, Matrimonial, and Pre Litigation matters.

A total number of 668 cases were taken up for amicable settlement, out of which 641 cases were settled and an amount of Rs. 50,500 was realized as judicial fine.
