International Webinar on “Research Methodology and Publications: An Editorial Perspective”

Aligarh : The Department of Commerce, AMU organized an Online International Webinar on “Research Methodology and Publications: An Editorial Perspective” for faculty members and research scholars. The program was live on YouTube.

The Resource person Prof Md Mamun Habib (School of Business & Entrepreneurship, Independent University, Bangladesh) discussed the challenges that young researchers face. He explained the techniques of paper writing in details, from starting a paper to selecting a methodology.

Prof Nawab Ali Khan, Chairman Department of Commerce, emphasised on the need of deliberating on the key issues pertaining to research publications. He suggested scholars to write the Ph.D thesis and research papers simultaneously.

Prof Imran Saleem, Dean, Faculty of Commerce, exhorted young researchers to publish articles in good academic journals.

A number of research scholars and faculty members interacted with Prof Habib at the end of the session.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Mohd Nayyer Rahman. More than 150 participants attended the programme.
