Salary of AEE withheld for non-compliance of directions; Scores of issues resolved during live interactive programme-Reasi BEEP

REASI : To reach out to common masses and redress their grievances virtually, District Development Commissioner Reasi, Charandeep Singh, today interacted with local people of the district during the weekly online outreach programme Reasi BEEPS.

During the Programme, the callers from different corners of the district conveyed the developmental demands and grievances to the district administration and immediate resolution was also made through virtual talks.

Acting on a complaint of locals about delay in repair work of canal at Kotli assured at Block Divas meeting, the DC ordered withholding of salary of Assistant Executive Engineer of Jal Shakti department, besides initiating enquiry for ascertaining the reasons for such non-compliance of instructions.

Charandeep Singh emphasized that “This unique initiative Reasi BEEPS (Beat the Pandemic) was initiated during COVID-19 to stay connected with the public to instill their confidence during the times of crisis.

The DC directed the concerned officers and officials to redress the grievances of people on priority. He also issued on spot directions to the concerned authorities on issues of urgent nature.
