Goonj (Odha Do Zindagi) bags Best Digital Marketing Campaign AwardThe Delhi-based NGO Goonj won the Best Digital Marketing Media Campaign award at the first annual Ketto Awards, focused on recognizing social work carried out in the country. Goonj’s campaign ‘Odha Do Zindagi’ was to help India’s poor survive the bitter cold in harsh winter and cope with the impending winter crisis.
It urged urban masses to contribute winter clothing or monetary contribution for the same, for people who have little to brave through harsh winters. Winter Kits comprising basic essentials like woolens, coats, shoes, mufflers, blankets, Sujnis were distributed to the destitute people covering over 100 villages. Thus the campaign helped ease the suffering of such people by involving community members and institutions.
Varun Sheth, CEO & Co-founder Ketto said, “Goonj, through their “Odha Do Zindagi” programme, have been able to reach out to hundreds of underprivileged people on the streets of New Delhi providing them with winter essentials such as woollens, blankets, mats and other material. Goonj has also reached out to far-flung villages of the country by providing the needy with urban underutilized materials.
