Ural Federal University: Foreign Students Visited Museum of Ekaterinburg
On April 23, more than twenty students from the UrFU Preparatory Department visited the Ekaterinburg History Museum with their mentors and the representatives of the UrFU International Office. In their free time, students from China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Turkey, and Latin America study the sights and history of the Ural capital.
Foreign students learned about the foundation of Ekaterinburg, the milestones of its development and construction, and the diverse social and business life of the city in a Russian-speaking environment.
Students showed interest in the museum exposition, listened to the guide and asked various questions. The interactive nature of the exhibition and the opportunity to touch objects of Russian antiquity with their hands added new impressions for foreign students of the UrFU Preparatory Department.
The university promotes internationalization and cross-cultural communication, understanding of the city where students live and spend some of their most active academic years.
