AMU faculty to judge student innovations in Smart India Hackathon
Aligarh : Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) faculty member from the Department of Commerce, Dr Ahmed Musa Khan will judge the quality, importance and value of student innovations in the Smart India Hackathon 2022, a joint initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India and MoE’s Innovation Cell, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Persistent Systems, and the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre.
He has been selected as an evaluator for the Hackathon aimed at providing students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems and inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem solving.
“Smart India Hackathon is one of India’s biggest annual platforms available for students to showcase their ideas and innovations in which the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi interacts with bright young minds, and inspires them to offer innovative solutions. We are proud that a young AMU faculty member has been selected as an evaluator for the event”, said Prof Nawab Ali Khan (Chairman Department of Commerce).
