International Conference at AMU Centre Murshidabad
Aligarh : To provide an international platform in bringing together academics and research ,a collaborative approach by AMU Centre Murshidabad along with EsaUnggul University, Jakarta, Indonesia, organised an online International Conference on “International “Recent Advances in the Field of Management, Law, Education and Technology: An Interdisciplinary Approach”. Around 230 papers were presented of which approximately 68 were from international participants from Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia and UK.
The day-long conference commenced with a technical session by keynote speakers including experts from India and Indonesia.
Prof Salma Ahmed, Dean of Faculty of Management Studies and Research, AMU, emphasized the fact that for management as a discipline, change is the only constant. She elaborated her discussion, including advancements in AI, Blockchain Technology, Green Marketing and Social Media.
Prof Mujibul Hasan Siddiqui, Chairman, Department of Education, AMU discussed the relevance of educational institutes and their roles in facilitating the process of change through use of technologies.
Prof Abdul Matin, Ex-Chairman, Department of Sociology, and Social Works, AMU talked about the need for interdisciplinary research and explained the concept of networked society put forward by Spanish sociologist, Manuel Castells.
Dr Habibullah Akbar an expert in Artificial Intelligence and E-governance discussed data science and communication. He focused on applying AI, Big Data, and statistics to gather valuable information from organisational data.
Dr Rilla Gantino, an expert in management accounting and CSR, talked about the comparison models of the influence of earnings and management, good corporate governance, and corporate social responsibility on financial performance.
The technical session was followed by 13 parallel sessions conducted and supervised by AMU Centre, Murshidabad and 6 parallel sessions undertaken and managed by EsaUnggul University and other collaborators. The sessions were chaired by reputed academicians from various higher education institutions all over India and abroad. Google meet Zoom and Youtube live platforms were used for conducting these sessions.

The inaugural session was presided by Prof Mohd Ashraf, Dean, Faculty of Law, AMU as the Chief Guest.
The valedictory session was held after successfully completing the 19 parallel sessions. Dr Nigamananda Biswas, Director In-charge, AMU Centre, Murshidabad highlighted the important takeaways as the Chief Guest of the session.
