Ural Federal University: UrFU Presented at Russian Universities Fair in Tajikistan

Employees of the Division for Continuing Education and Career Guidance of Ural Federal University took part in the X International exhibition-fair “Russian education. Tajikistan-2022”. They told high school students about the areas of training, introduced applicants to educational programs, conditions of enrollment, accommodation and other aspects.

“At the exhibition we conducted a big career guidance work with school students, within the framework of which more than 300 educational programs of the university were presented. This is an important work, because there are established stereotypes of school students in the near abroad that a successful future is guaranteed only by professions in the field of law and medicine. With our participation in the exhibition, several hundred school students have expressed interest in applying to Ural Federal University,” said Timurjon Khamidov, a member of the delegation, an engineer of the Ural Federal University Office of Informational and Technical Support.

The event was organized by the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Tajikistan jointly with the Ministry of Education and Science of the republic with the support of the Embassy and Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Tajikistan. The exhibition was held on June 10, 11 and 13 in Dushanbe and Khujand. Participation in the exhibition was attended by 35 Russian universities. For three days about 5 thousand school students and their parents visited the exhibition.
