Penguin Random House: PRH Partners With Save the Children on 100 Days of Reading Stuff the Bus Tour
Penguin Random House has partnered with Save the Children their “100 Days of Reading – Summer is Better with Books” campaign to donate books and school supplies across the country between June 1-August 16. The campaign includes a range of activities and giveaways, as well as the unveiling of Save the Children’s 100 Days of Reading branded bus that will be traveling to underserved communities across the country throughout the summer. The campaign kicked off on June 1 in Santa Monica, CA with a MadLibs giveaway booth and Sand Sculpture. In each city, Save the Children will deliver new backpacks filled with school supplies, books, learning materials and more, including 5,000 English and Spanish language MAD LIBS titles. PRH is also working to confirm author appearances at select tour destinations throughout the Summer.
The 100 Days of Reading Stuff the Bus tour will visit the following cities through the summer (June 8 through August 16): Los Angeles; San Francisco; Seattle; Houston; Atlanta; Nashville/Knoxville; Charlotte, NC; Stanley, Kentucky; Bay City, MI; Racine, WI; Chicago; Washington DC; and Boston.
