AMU to organise Corporate Meet on Nov 9
Aligarh: Officials of top notch companies will discuss latest trends related to marketing, finance, human resource, general management and other domains with students during Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Corporate Meet on November 9 at the Strachey Hall.
The meet, organised by the Training and Placement Office-General of the University will have senior directors, general managers, HR officials and other executives of Genpact, Samsung, Max Health Care, Triton Communications, DLF Ltd, Azim Premji Foundation, Knoldus Inc, Indian Defence Estate Services and Talent Recruit among other top multinationals as resource persons.
“Around 900 students have so far made online registrations to attend the meet,” said Mr Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer (TPO)-General.
“Mr Anas Wajid (Senior director sales and marketing, Max Health Care), Mr Sam Hussaini (President, Triton Communications), Mr Izhar Aftab (CEO,UHM Vacation) and Mr Brij Nandan Yadav (Executive Director DLF Ltd) will deliver lectures on the occasion,” said Dr Muzammil Mushtaq, Assistant TPO.
Dr Jahangir Alam, Assistant TPO added that the meet will also have panel discussions on ‘Skills Needed for the Jobs of future’ and ‘Becoming in-demand Talent: Strategies Universities Need to Adopt.’
Prof Parvaiz Talib, Chairman, Department of Business Administration is the convener of the meet, while Dr Jahangir Alam is the Coordinator.
