KIIT Gets Prestigious ISAS Badge from IAU
Bhubaneswar: KIIT Deemed to be University has become the first Indian university to get Internationalization Strategies Advisory Service (ISAS) Badge. The recognition, which marks the achievement of milestones along the journey of internationalization, was given to KIIT at the award ceremony held during International Associations of University (IAU) 2019 International Conference on “Transforming Higher Education for the Future” at Puebla, Mexico on November 13-15, 2019.
IAU awarded the badge for Planning and Strategy learning to KIIT. Pam Fredman, President, IAU and Eva Egron-Polak, Council Member, Former Secretary General presented the award to the representatives from KIIT. The news has brought happiness among the international students of KIIT, staff, students and their guardians. Expressing his satisfaction, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS said, teaching, learning, research and development strategies of KIIT have had international focus since its inception; for which it has been possible to get this badge.
A delegation led by the IAU Secretary General had visited KIIT Deemed to be University three years ago and inspected various teaching, learning, research and development strategies of KIIT. KIIT has been able to get the badge following the report of the Secretary General.
