Students of Amity Finishing School bring smiles on the faces of HIV infected Orphan Kids through a charitable event
New Delhi: Encouraging the students to serve the society, Amity Finishing School (AFS) organized a charitable event at the ‘Desire’ Society Noida. The purpose of the event was to celebrate the birthdays of the underprivileged orphan kids suffering from HIV virus.
The students of AFS with full enthusiasm organized a rainbow themed birthday party wherein they baked a cake along with cupcakes for every kid. Various entertaining activities and games including spoon and marble race, musical chairs etc were played during the event. The students wished the kids’ birthday through melodious compositions.
Ms Jaishree Chauhan, Vice Chairperson, Amity Finishing School said “it is a joyous feeling to witness the smiling faces of these children.” She mentioned that at Amity, apart from providing world class education, we also inculcate behavioral science in students and teach them human values to help the people in need, only then they will be called as a successful person. She apprised that there are 25 children in the Desire Society and students of Amity Finishing School will continue to organize the birthday party every quarterly for the children. She expressed her hope to reach out to more children and spread happiness in their lives in every possible way and take it forward to other NGOs as well
