Poshan Project R.S Pura organises Yoga session

JAMMU : A Yoga session was today organised by Poshan Project R.S Pura at Sri Guru Ravidass Mandir.

Deputy Director, Poshan Tina Mahajan was the chief guest and SDM R.S Pura, Ram Lal was the guest of honour along with Chairman Municipality, Satpaul Pappi. The Councillors and other dignitaries were also present.

The Yoga session was conducted by a Yoga instructor from District Ayush Department, while Medical officer delivered a lecture on Healthy and balanced diet.

A series of other activities related to Poshan scheme were also held, including Dance, skit on Poshan, besides a lecture on prevention and treatment of anaemia lecture was delivered by Dr. Rimpy.

Later, a plantation drive was also conducted at Government Middle School, R.S. Pura in collaboration with Divisional forest Office, Jammu. As many as 100 samplings of herbal and fruit plants were planted and distributed to the workers.
