Farewell programme held for Class X students

ALIGARH : Students of Class IX and X participated in a number of cultural programmes at the Aligarh Muslim University City Girls’ High School, which were organized to say goodbye to the class X students.

The chief guest noted pediatrician, Dr. Hameeda Tariq urged the students to work hard and achieve excellence in their studies. She said the most important condition for achieving success in life is to make the best use of your time and adhere to a disciplined schedule.

The guests of honour, Prof. Naima Khatoon, Principal, Women’s College, and Mrs. Tanveer Badar urged them to carefully choose a career in life and make the best efforts to achieve the goal. They congratulated the students who won the titles of Ms. Farewell, Ms. Gorgeous and Ms. Graceful.

Earlier, the principal of the school, Dr. Mohd Alamgir, welcomed the guests and felicitated them with badges and mementos. He wished the students good luck in future endeavors.

The students of classes IX and X presented qawwali, Tarana, and farewell songs.

Mr. Md Javed Akhtar, Vice Principal extended a vote of thanks, while Ms. Saima Nadeem and Ms. Urooja Khan conducted the programme.
